Mouse Blowing Bubbles Animation


Your text should now be floating on your image.
Using your mouse run over the floating text
until you see the crossbar.
While holding your left mouse button down move
the text on to the bubble.

Go to Selections, Then Select None.

Your image should now look like this.

Hold your Shift key down while pressing the D key
This will make one copy of your image.

We are now going to save the copy that we just made.
Make sure your back ground color is set to white.

Go to your tool bar and Click on Colors, Then Set Pallet Transparency

You will see a warning window pop up. Click Yes.

Next you will see the Decrease Color Depth window.
Take the defaults and Click OK

Last Window you will see is the Set Palette Transparency.
check the Set the transparency value to the current background.
(this should be white)
Click OK

Go to your tool bar and Click on File and save this image as Image1.gif
Move the image we just saved over to the side and go back to the image we
started with.



Return to your tool bar and Click on Layers, then Add New Raster Layer

Again take the Defaults and click OK

Activate the second bubble image.
Return to your tool bar and Click on Edit, Then on copy.

Activate the image we have been working on.
Return to your tool bar and Click on Edit, Then Paste, Then As Transparent.

Move your bubble image a tid bit away from the bubble wand.

Go to selections, then Select None.

Use your text tool and add your text. (should be the first letter)
Use the same settings as before and Click OK
Move your text on top of the bubble.
Go to Selections, Then Select none.

Now, we're going to hide the previous bubble by going up to your layer palette and clicking on the

previous layer <br><br>

and you should now have an image that looks like this:

Now, we're going to add another layer.

Again take the Defaults and click OK

Follow the same steps as above, moving your new bubble slightly higher up.

Once you've done that, go back up to your layer palette and hide the previous letter and save only your top layer.
Now, you should have an image that looks like this:

Your FIRST letter is in it's Permanant position.
It will remain in all your copies from here on out.
It should always remain visible.
Now, we're going to save this copy by doing this
Hold your Shift key down and press the D key.
Make one copy.

Repeat the steps we took before to save this image.
Remember to save your images in order like so.

and so on....

Continue to Repeat this whole process adding your next layer with the bubble moved slightly
and then hiding the previous layer.
Palette

Add a new layer, copy your small bubble, and paste as transparent selection into your current project.
Add Text.

Repeat the process, layer, copy, paste as transparent.

Hide the previous bubble. Make a copy with your bubble in the new position.
Remember to save in order, image1.gif, image2.gif, image3.gif and so on and so on.




The only bubbles/layers you do not ever hide are your letters in their TOP positions.


New Layer, copy bubble, paste as transparent. Move slightly above previous bubble. Add text.


Hide the previous layer.



Make another copy.
Add new layer, Copy your bubble, paste as transparent selection, move slightly higher than your previous layer.


Hide your previous bubble and make a copy (Shift + D) and save it as before. Remember to save in order!


Add a new layer, copy bubble, paste as transparent, select none, add text, select none, make copy & save.


Add a new layer, copy bubble, paste as transparent slightly higher than previous bubble.


Go to layer palette, and hide the previous layer. Make a copy (Shift + D) and save it as before.


Add a new layer, copy bubble, paste as transparent slightly higher than previous bubble.


Hide the previous layer. Make your copy and save it as before.




Add a new layer, copy bubble, paste as transparent, select none, add text, select none.


Go to layer palette, and hide the previous layer. Make a copy (Shift + D) and save it as before.


Continue this process through all the letters in your name until your name is spelled out completely at top.
