Mouse Blowing Bubbles Animation


You will need the following images to complete this tut.
I've included the zip file in psp format for you HERE
so that you can skip the first steps of increasing colors and changing your background color to white.



In Paint Shop Pro open the images you just saved.

Click on each image individually and go to colors, increase color depth and 16 million colors ,
And set your background color to white.
This will allow you to use the picture as a transparent selection.

Now, Open a new image with the settings you see here.



Activate the mouse image by clicking on the bar.
Go to your tool bar and Click on Edit, then Copy.



Activate the new image you just made. (again by clicking on the bar)
Go to your tool bar and Click on Edit, Then Paste, As Transparent Selection.



Move your mouse image over to the bottom left side and Click on your left mouse button.
Your Image should have the marching ants like this.



Return to your tool bar and Click on Selections, Then Select None.
The marching ants will be gone.



Return to your tool bar and Click on Layers, Then New Raster Layer.



The Layers Properties box will open.
Use the defaults and click OK.



Check your Layers Pallet Bar and make sure you are on Layer 2



Activate the first bubble image (again, click on the first bubble image)
Go to your tool bar and Click on Edit, Then Copy.



Activate the image you are working on. (again, click on the image you want to work with)
Return to the tool bar and Click on Edit, Then Paste, Then As Transparent Selection.



Move the bubble you just pasted over to the bubble wand the mouse is holding.
Once you have the bubble lined up, go to Selections, Then Select None.



Your image should now look something like this.



Click on the text tool icon
Go back to your image and left click anywhere on the image.
You should now see the text entry window.
Choose the Font Style you want, and the color you want for your text.
Styles Stroke: Null Textures Stroke: Null and Textures Fill Null
Antialias should be checked and Floating should be checked.
Type in the first letter of your name and click OK
