You all know why you come to NewbieHangout.
It's because of the great content they provide, and the way
they help you answer your questions about website design,
and other stuff related to your internet endeavors right?
Maybe you like the community they offer through the Newbie
Forum. On the other hand, maybe you just like coming here
cause Darla, Ken, and Gerri are such great people. It really
doesn't matter exactly why you come, what matters are that
you find what you need. In addition, we hope you will keep
coming back to check and see what we have to offer you.
I am sure that for many of you, you have never heard of me.
Some of you might even ask why you should listen to anything
I say in my articles. Yet, others might ask why I write articles
here at NewbieHangout in the first place. Then again, some
of you may think I am just a babbling loon. I refer you to
the Newbie Forum for evidence of that. Oh yeah, that's right,
I said that about myself in one of my own posts. Nevermind
:o)
So Darla thought it might be a good idea to give me this
page, and let me do with it what I wanted. She thought this
might be a way for you Newbiefites to get to know the new
Contributing Editor. So here I am. I'm a straight shooter.
I don't candy coat things. I make every effort to tell things
like they are. If you are looking for hype, you aren't going
to find it in my articles. If you are looking for facts, and
examples born from years of internet and self employment experience,
then you won't leave the table empty.
Am I a raving success, truth be told, I'd answer "no".
Am I a burning failure, the verdicts still out on that one.
What I can tell you, is that my writing is based on tried
and true practices that take hard work to pull off. They are
practices, that should you follow them, your goals will become
more and more attainable. None of them is a get rich quick
type of scheme, or overnight magic to cure your ailments.
They are like a farmer planting seeds, nurturing them, feeding
them, and caring for them, so in the end they will bear him
profits. What I offer you is a long-term approach to self-sustaining
long term financial freedom.
What makes me reliable? I can start you off with a link to
my professional library. You can view the programs I use,
my computer experience, job experience, and other things that
show where my knowledge comes from. I have been involved with
self employment ventures for over 10 years, and have been
roaming around the net doing website design for over 5 years
now. That is years of trial and error. Have I failed? You
bet I have, and I have done so miserably at times. BUT, I
have learned valuable lessons from each and every time I have.
That's where my writing benefits you. It helps you avoid my
pitfalls so you can concentrate on other things to create
your own success.
Is that to say I've always failed? No. I have had quite successful
ventures, fun ventures. Had life circumstances been different,
and divorce not a reality of everyday life, then I'd still
be doing a few of them today. That's not the way it worked
out. We have to make the best of what we are dealt in life.
So after that fateful life occurrence, I was forced to start
over. I was forced to re-evaluate what I had to work with,
and what I had to offer. What I have to offer is practical
approaches to everyday problems faced by webmasters, website
designers, the self employed, and anyone looking to pursue
these pathways in their life.
Quite simply put, the reason I write these articles is because
I was once where you are. I didn't have the money for formal
college education on design and promotion. I had no idea how
to write HTML, use CSS, or market my sites. I found an online
tutorial to teach myself HTML. I jumped into it for 8 hours
straight. When I was done, I was able to create BASIC HTML
pages. I surfed around, read more tutorials, and viewed site
code. After a while, I began to learn advanced HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, and a host of other languages available for internet
content production. I was once where you are. I understand
how difficult it is to find the resources you need. FREE resources
that can help you realize your dreams. NewbieHangout has that,
and that's why I'm here.
I offer you over 10 years of experience in marketing and
promotion. I offer you over 5 years of experience in website
design and all aspect of promotion. I offer you these things
to put you years ahead of where you are at now. I offer them
freely, with NewbieHangout's help. And just like Darla Ken,
and Gerri, I hope above all that I can help even one of you
realize your dreams. If I can accomplish that, then in ways
I have done my part to try to make the world a better place
to live in.
If you remember nothing else in life, remember this:
Dreams: Dreams are what make up our life. The dreams that
come true make up our life reality. Those that do not come
true will remain our dreams. Everything in life starts with
a dream. It is the accomplishment that brings it into reality.
See you around NewbieHangout.
